Purpose of the platform
Rebate Cards provides website, account and program technology for connecting approved e-commerce activity to rebate calculations and virtual card workflows. Shopify is the native account and commerce integration.
A website account, Shopify connection, completed verification case, program configuration or calculated amount is not by itself a financial account, card, payment instruction, program approval or right to receive rebate value.
Role of Rebate Cards
Trinity Payment Solutions operates the Rebate Cards platform. Unless an applicable service document expressly states otherwise for a particular approved arrangement, neither Rebate Cards nor Trinity Payment Solutions acts as a bank, card issuer, payment network, merchant acquirer, payment processor, payment institution, electronic money institution or regulator.
The platform may coordinate data, program rules, calculations, records and provider workflows. Technology coordination does not transfer the legal or regulated responsibilities of a merchant, verification provider, issuer, payment network, program provider or processor.
Verification through iComply
iComply supplies the verification flow used for required business and identity checks. It is a verification provider, not the issuer of a virtual card, not a payment network and not the merchant funding a rebate program.
Completion of the iComply flow does not guarantee account activation, program approval or card issuance. The organizations responsible for compliance, risk and provider decisions may require additional information or decline, restrict or later review access.
Merchant funding and program rules
The merchant is responsible for funding its approved rebate program and for the accuracy, legality and customer communication of eligibility rules, formulas, thresholds, caps, promotional periods, refund windows, expiration treatment and support procedures.
Shopify order, customer, fulfillment and refund events may be used to apply those approved rules. Returns, cancellations, chargebacks, duplicate activity or corrected data can change eligibility and may require an adjustment, reversal or reconciliation entry. The applicable documents determine how each event is handled.
Virtual cards and responsible providers
Virtual cards are issued and serviced only through the organizations identified for an approved arrangement. The applicable card and program documents identify the issuer, payment network, program provider, processor and any organization responsible for holding or safeguarding funds, transaction handling, disputes, complaints or support.
Virtual card use may be broad, but remains subject to issuer and network acceptance, program rules, jurisdiction, merchant category and transaction controls, available value, expiration and card limits. A reference to possible use does not guarantee acceptance by a particular merchant or approval of a particular transaction.
Approval and staged access
No statement on this website is an approval or promise of approval. Registration, verification, Shopify connection, program review and provider approval are separate steps. Self-service tools are enabled gradually according to the status of those steps.
- Business identity, ownership and control may need to be verified.
- The business model, eligible customers, products, countries, currencies, funding sources, expected activity and refund process may be reviewed.
- Program responsibilities, customer terms, data permissions, pricing, implementation requirements and card terms must be agreed where applicable.
- Access can be restricted if information changes, required checks expire, funding is unavailable, provider conditions are not met or activity falls outside approved rules.
Alternative commerce platforms
References to WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, PrestaShop, OpenCart, marketplaces, or custom and headless commerce do not mean that an integration is immediately available. Each alternative requires separate review of data sources, authorization, webhook or event reliability, customer identity, orders, fulfillment, refunds, currencies and operational responsibilities.
Only written service documents can confirm whether an alternative platform, data source or custom integration has been approved and which features are available.
Availability and no performance promise
Program and card availability depends on the merchant, business model, eligible customers, jurisdiction, currency, provider coverage, applicable law, funding, risk review and approval. Features, permitted uses, fees, limits, expiration, settlement, reconciliation, dispute processes and support arrangements may differ by program.
Website examples are not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, security or regulatory advice. They do not promise approval, issuance, cost savings, increased sales, customer retention, uninterrupted service, fraud prevention or any other commercial or regulatory outcome.
Questions and complaints
Email hello@rebatecardsx.com with a general question about this website or before a service relationship exists. We may direct a provider-specific question to the organization responsible for that part of the service.
For an active program or virtual card, use the support and complaints information in the applicable merchant, program or card documents. Those documents identify the responsible organization and any escalation or external redress process that applies.
